November Games with EXTRA Points

*1/4 Gold, Silver, Red & Black at 2x awards; For the week of November 17-23, all open games plus the Monday Evening 499er are Royal STaC awarding 1/4 Gold, Silver, Red and Black points at 2X club awards. Your percentage is compared across several ACBL Districts, so a high score can earn you lots of points. Provisional results for your events will be available 48 hours (about 2 days) after the end of each session. Go to here and click on the session with the results you wish to see. Each session link has a listing of everyone who placed in the overalls for each event, and a complete list of awards at the bottom which is searchable by player name and club name. There is a Thursday 10A event which is also an Open Royal STaC game during this week. 749ers will be in their own strat. There must be 5 or more tables to run a STaC game. The Unit is paying for the extra charges, so the game charge remains at $10. The online Game Calendar reflects the updated schedule. Please contact Ken L to request a partner: (831) 426-4949; or via email to Partner Request. Unit 550 2026-2027 Board of Directors Election Every year a portion of the Unit 550 Board of Directors is elected for a two-year term. Two current board members have agreed to stand for an additional term and a member has agreed to fill the remaining slot. If there are no other candidates, the slate of three will be elected by acclamation, as specified in Section 7.5(a) of Unit 550 Bylaws, unless 5 members of Unit 550 request in writing (or email) a formal election. The deadline for accepting nominations for the official ballot is Monday, November 24th; write-in candidates are also accepted if there is an election by ballot. Contact any member of the Board to have your name included as a candidate for election to the 2026-2027 Board of Directors or to learn more. |
